Own the scheduler that decides which run goes where, and how fast.
The scheduler decides which worker takes which run. When it is right, nobody notices. When it is wrong, everybody waits.
What you will do
Work on placement, warm pools and queue priority. Measure everything in milliseconds and argue with the numbers, not with each other.
What helps
Experience with schedulers, queues or distributed systems in production. Comfort reading flame graphs.
